Solo parents are in a unique position of raising children and running households without much of a village, sometimes, often in the midst of turmoil and while battling former spouses in court, while managing personal issues, and while holding down a job. Every situation is uniquely challenging and it's easy to feel alone especially around 3am when you are wide awake watching infomercials and stressed about how you are going to keep things together.
Founded in 2010 and launched in 2011, SoloParenting.com is dedicated to making sure solo moms and solo dads always have a place to turn when they feel alone whether it's that 3am moment or just another Tuesday. All of us strive to be the best parents we can be in the face of sometimes overwhelming and unbelievable obstacles and drama. This site is designed as a resource for parents to find answers to questions, to provoke thought, to share best practices, and to create a space for a community of parents to share their stories and ideas.
